With influences from classical music to Irish folk, downtempo electronic-indie pop to orchestral string arrangements, Cloudyah (solo persona of Austrian songstress and multi-instrumentalist Claudia Heidegger) picks up the electric guitar, electrifies, excites and brings to prove that elaborate indie sounds are just another part of her natural musical range. Spherical sounds and riffs, flattered by a transcendent voice, bitter and sweet as honey. Sometimes light as a feather, sometimes thundering and brilliant, almost disconcertingly beautiful.
