Kilkelly (IE, DE)

A songwriter firmly within the firmament of the Irish tradition, with a taste for the strange, narrative-driven lyrical structure and prone to laments. Experimental arrangements, and make-shift percussion add a flavour of dynamic driving force, along with lamentful ballads. Cutting his teeth in Berlin’s thriving folk scene, first album, The Prick & The Petal – a concept album about star-crossed lovers in a desolate Ireland – was released independently in 2020, showcased at Liverpool Irish Fest, and lauded by Plattentests. His sophomore release “Solip” is set for release April 2026.
