Čipkice (HR)
Čipkice are a female vocal ethno ensemble, founded in 2008 under the artistic direction of Lidija Dokuzović. From the beginning, the ensemble has been dedicated to preserving and performing traditional music from various parts of the world, blending contemporary and traditional elements in their interpretations. Today, they are led by the young ethnomusicologist Ena Hadžiomerović. For over sixteen years of continuous activity, Čipkice have performed at numerous festivals, concerts, and humanitarian events, both as a standalone ensemble and in collaboration with renowned Croatian musicians such as Veja, Afion, and Edo Maajka. Their repertoire includes Croatian and international traditional songs, interpreted with a fresh and dynamic approach. Bound by their shared love for Croatian and global traditional music, Čipkice weave a vibrant tapestry of sound in their performances, consistently captivating audiences with their vocals and energy.
